Sir Quincy Dans Gray is now Retired and out with his favorite mare. A few offspring are available for purchase.

His dam, Raytippy, is a daughter of Gray Ed by Eddie Red Rose. She is a multiple Performance ROM producer. Sir Quincy Dans Gray is a 1987 AQHA stallion, unshown. His sire is the great Sir Quincy Dan, sire of 8 World Champions, 6 Reserve World Champions, 72 Performance ROMs, 17 AQHA Champions, and 29 Superior Halter horses. Unquestionably, his bloodline lives on in many breeding operations today.

Sir Quincy Dans Gray was bred by Reynolds Inc. in Nebraska, a well known breeder of quality quarter horses. His foals are pretty, athletic horses with a genuine desire to please given the proper training. More than one owner or trainer has expressed how easy to train they are. He sires a high percentage of gray foals.

Sir Quincy Dans Gray was purchased by his previous owner at the Reynolds' farm in Nebraska right off his mama. This gentleman told me he chose this particular colt because of the quality of the mare he was out of and his sire, of course. The mare was not for sale. Back they came to Maryland, where he grew up and was green broke. There was no promotion, but over the years I saw this stallion's ability to improve the mare's head, put a back and a hip on 'em, and the unmistakable prepotence of his line. Very few mares were bred to this horse and only a few ever made it to AQHA shows. I decided to purchase Quince before the previous owner moved him to South Carolina.
